Metro Soccer NY, and it’s 501c3 charity arm, Play Study Win, Inc....

...have partnered with the South African Consulate in New York to promote the game of soccer, the 2010 World Cup and the continent of Africa to underserved communities and underprivileged children in the NY Tri-State region and beyond.

A joint youth and adult soccer tournament will occur in the Spring of 2010.

The program uses a mix of soccer coaching, tournaments and games with literacy and academic components that highlight the history of the game together with social, political and geographical information about South Africa.

Metro Soccer NY & Play Study Win already runs the largest junior soccer program in the New York public schools.

We think this a great opportunity to offer quality programming to these children who need it the most.
